Presentation Title: Measuring experiential learning gains to decide the most educationally effective timeframe for workplace placements in the undergraduate "Oxandrolone Powder India" Pharmacy program.
Introduction/background: While Testosterone Propionate Msds the importance of experiential placements within undergraduate pharmacy programs is recognized, in Australia there is little systematic research on the teaching and learning at these experiential placements. Despite the intuitive value of embedding learning at the site of authentic community pharmacy practice, workplace placements are usually organised more for theoretical imperatives, anecdotal reasons, or timetable convenience rather than objective knowledge as to the learning students are experiencing by this mode of education.
Purpose/objectives: This project aims to improve our knowledge about the timing of student placements by investigating the most educationally effective timeframe for an undergraduate community pharmacy experiential placement. In both surveys and focus groups the majority of students indicated a preference for the block placement. Preceptors agreed that the block style of placement was more useful to student learning; however, block placements were of best value when students have a good core theoretical knowledge and weekly placements were suited to the early years of the undergraduate program.
